Analisis Peran Strategis Indonesia dalam Merespon Isu Papua di MSG Melalui Perspektif Transformasi Konflik Lederach

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai Analisis Peran Strategis Indonesia dalam Merespon Isu Papua di Melanesian Spearhead Group melalui perspektif transformasi konflik Lederach. Penelitian ini berangkat dari latar belakang konflik Papua yang bersifat multidimensional, mencakup isu hak asasi manusia, ketimpangan pembangunan, serta adanya tuntutan penentuan nasib sendiri yang kemudian berkembang menjadi isu regional melalui keterlibatan United Liberation Movement for West Papua di forum Melanesian Spearhead Group. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis strategi diplomasi Indonesia di forum tersebut serta kontribusinya terhadap transformasi konflik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data sekunder berupa dokumen, laporan, dan publikasi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia menerapkan strategi diplomasi multidimensional melalui pendekatan politik, ekonomi, dan kultural, serta memanfaatkan status keanggotaan untuk membangun relasi, mentransformasi narasi konflik menuju pembangunan, dan menciptakan ruang dialog regional. Kesimpulannya, strategi tersebut berkontribusi pada transformasi konflik secara relasional, struktural, dan naratif, meskipun masih menghadapi tantangan berupa politik identitas, keterbatasan peran forum, dan ketidaksinkronan dengan kondisi domestik. Implikasinya menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi antara diplomasi regional dan kebijakan nasional yang inklusif guna mencapai perdamaian berkelanjutan di Papua serta memperkuat legitimasi Indonesia di tingkat kawasan internasional.
