Strategi Komunikasi Digital Kota Solo melalui Smart Tourism Berbasis Digital Twin sebagai Destinasi Wisata Budaya Berkelanjutan

Digitalisasi promosi pariwisata menjadi kebutuhan strategis bagi Kota Surakarta yang memiliki kekuatan narasi budaya dan kuliner, namun masih menghadapi keterbatasan infrastruktur dan sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi strategi komunikasi digital Dinas Pariwisata Kota Surakarta dalam mendukung pengembangan ekonomi kreatif serta menilai kesiapan menuju Smart Tourism berbasis Digital Twin. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pimpinan, staf, dan wisatawan, serta observasi media digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi digital telah dikelola secara sistematis melalui perencanaan konten, evaluasi triwulanan, dan strategi storytelling budaya yang berhasil menarik audiens muda. Meski demikian, masih terdapat kelemahan berupa keterbatasan infrastruktur digital, jumlah SDM, akurasi informasi, serta pola kolaborasi yang belum strategis. Wisatawan juga menegaskan bahwa media sosial lebih efektif dibanding aplikasi resmi, namun akurasi informasi perlu ditingkatkan. Meskipun demikian, peluang besar muncul dari tingginya minat wisatawan terhadap inovasi Digital Twin, yang dapat diimplementasikan secara bertahap melalui prototipe sederhana sesuai kapasitas lokal. Dengan demikian, Solo memiliki kekuatan narasi budaya yang kokoh, namun perlu penguatan fondasi digital dan partisipasi masyarakat agar dapat bertransformasi menuju Smart Tourism yang berkelanjutan.
