Optimasi Potensi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Bayu di Kabupaten Sukabumi

Pemanfaatan energi angin sebagai sumber listrik terbarukan di Kabupaten Sukabumi memiliki potensi yang besar namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan pengembangan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Bayu (PLTB) melalui pendekatan komprehensif yang mencakup analisis potensi angin, kelayakan teknis, dan aspek finansial. Lima jenis turbin angin skala besar dianalisis, yaitu Siemens SWT-3.6-130, Vestas V100-2.0 MW, GE Renewable Energy 6.6 MW, Goldwind GWH252-10 MW dan Windey WD236-8.5 MW. Analisis potensi angin dilakukan menggunakan distribusi Weibull dua parameter untuk memperoleh parameter bentuk (k) dan skala (?), yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk menghitung produksi energi tahunan (Annual Energy Production/AEP) dan kapasitas faktor (Capacity Factor/CF). Evaluasi teknis dilakukan dengan membandingkan output energi dan efisiensi masing-masing turbin, sedangkan analisis finansial mencakup perhitungan Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) dan Payback Period (PP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa turbin Windey WD236-8.5 MW memberikan hasil paling optimal dengan nilai NPV tertinggi, BCR sebesar 3,59, dan IRR sebesar 9,63%, serta masa pengembalian modal (PP) selama 20 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan PLTB di Sukabumi layak dilaksanakan, dengan pemilihan jenis turbin yang disesuaikan terhadap karakteristik angin lokal dan efisiensi investasi.
